Obituary of Ernest R. Hines

Ernest R. Hines CHESAPEAKE- ERNEST RAY HINES, 64, died Tuesday August 12, 2003 in a Chesapeake hospital. Mr. Hines was born in Norfolk to Pearl Perry Hines of Chesapeake and the late Ernest Elmer Hines. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk. Mr. Hines is survived by his mother, Pearl Perry Hines; one sister Bernice H. Hyatt of Norfolk; two brothers, Lonnie Elmer Hines and his wife Jean of Wirtz, VA and Wilber Lee Hines and his wife Paula of Kitty Hawk, NC. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake with Rev. Johnny McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following services. Interment will take place in the Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk, NC.
