Obituary of Guy S. Bennett, Jr.

Guy Smith Bennett, Jr., age 75, of 300 Magnolia Drive, Camden, NC, died Friday, August 15, 2003, at his residence. He was born in Beaufort County, NC, son of the late Guy Smith and Roberta Malason Bennett, Sr. Mr. Bennett was a civil service worker and served in the US Army. He is survived by three sisters, Veva Flemings of Knightdale, NC, Mildred Tetterton of Washington, NC, and Lola B. Wright of Belhaven, NC. A graveside service will be Monday, August 18, 2003, at 2:00 PM in the Wright Family Cemetery with Military Honors by the William Clarence Jackson Post # 6060. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. At other times the family will be at the residence. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
