Obituary of Daniel Rene Gourvil

Elizabeth City, NC Daniel Rene Gourvil, age 60, of 642 Firetower Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday, August 14, 2003 in Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Cooke County, IL, son of the late Rene Gourvil and Augusta Gens Gourvil Pitard of Citrus Springs, FL, and was the husband of Judith Nelson Gourvil of the residence. Mr.Gourvil was a musician, and served in the US Army. Besides his wife and mother Mr. Gourvil is survived by four daughters, Danielle Rene Robinson of Paris KY, Robin Clouse of Jackson, NJ, Cynthia Miller and Lisa Jackson of Lecanto, FL; one son David Schron of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother George Pitard of FL. A memorial service will be Sunday, August 17, 2003, at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Northside Chapel, 1115 North Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC.
