Obituary of Frances F. Poyner

Frances Miriam Fulton Poyner, age 52 of 1116 Perquimans Ave, Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Poyner was born in Norfolk, VA; daughter of the late Robert Bose and Margaret Decker Fulton and was the wife of Andrew N. Poyner of the residence. She was a retired insurance agent. Besides her husband, Mrs. Poyner is survived by two sisters, Lorraine Day and husband, Rodney, of Norfolk, VA and Laura Nole of Virginia Beach, VA; a step-mother, Janie V. Fulton of Norfolk VA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 10:00 AM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, NC with Father Jim Buchholz officiating. The family will receive friends in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the service.
