Obituary of Iris Manuel

SULPHUR, LA IRIS MIDGETT MANUEL, 68, of Sulphur, La and former resident for many years of Manteo, died, Sunday, August 24, 2003, in Sulphur, La. Mrs. Manuel was born in Norfolk, Va and was a homemaker and member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. Mrs. Manuel was the daughter of the late Vance L. and Ina Midgett Cudworth and the wife of Dan Manuel. Besides her husband surviving are one daughter; Tina Marie Richie of Fort Apache, Az, three sons; Lindsey Midgett, Jr of Lake Charles, La, Jeffrey Lee Midgett of Manteo and Michael Allen Midgett, three sisters; Lois Saunders of Manteo, Wilma Scarborough and Jean C. Daniels both of Wanchese. one brother; Louis Cudworth of Bel Aire, Md and six grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in Mount Olivet United Methodist Church by the Rev. George Speake. Burial will be in Cudworth Cemetery.
