Obituary of Romans Eglitis

Romans Eglitis, 77, died at his residence on Monday, August 25, 2003. Mr. Eglitis was born in Skriveri, Latvija and was a retired Mechanical Engineer. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Washington, D.C. He was the son of the late Janis and Marta Swanson Eglitis. Mr. Eglitis is survived by his wife, Nina Rozenieks Eglitis of the home, one daughter, Inga Francis, Esquire and her husband Richard Francis, Esquire of Boykins, VA, one son, Dr. Martins Eglitis and wife, Dr. Beth Eglitis of Indianapolis, Indiana; one God-son, Andris Paza, two grandchildren, Kersti Anna Francis and Aleksandris Konstantinis Eglitis. A memorial service will be held at 4172 Thick Ridge Road in Kitty Hawk on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Anita Varsbergs ‘ Paza officiating.
