Obituary of Mary Jackson

Elizabeth City, NC Mary Lee Jackson, 96, of 1802 West Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday, September 05, 2003. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Cornelius Lamb Jackson, Sr. and the late Lovie O’Neal Jackson and was a retired librarian with the Sanford City Schools and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Louise Brite and Lessie J. Craig and two brothers, Carol C. Jackson and Francis O. Jackson all of Elizabeth City, NC. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard E. Jackson, John L. Jackson, and Cornelius L. Jackson, Jr. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, September 8, 2003 at 3:30 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Roy Head. A private burial will follow at Old Hollywood Cemetery.
