Obituary of William White, Jr.

William Irvin White Jr. Moyock, NC ‘ William Irvin White, Jr, 56, died Friday, September 5, 2003 at his residence with his family at his side. Mr. White was born in Bristol, PA to Frances Knott White and the late William White Sr. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy for over 20 years. Mr. White was a member of Moyock Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, financial secretary, and dedicated himself to operating the sound system for all services. He is survived by his wife, Kay White; his mother Frances; one daughter, Sarah White; two sons, Brain and Matthew White; one sister, Deborah John; and three brothers, David, James and Robert White. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Moyock Baptist Church with Rev. Vic Ramsey officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Moyock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Moyock Baptist Church.
