Obituary of Emily Simon

Baltimore, MD Emily Schofield Simon, age 88, of 609 Cedar St., Elizabeth City, NC, died Thursday, September 18, 2003, in Baltimore, MD. She was born in Cape May, NJ, daughter of the late John D. and Anna Marie Brugger Schofield, and was the widow of Carl Antonio Simon. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and worked in Accounting with the Civil Service. Mrs. Simon is survived by a niece Mary Lou Bleakley of Arnold, MD; four nephews, Karl Stansell of Hertford, NC, and Donald D. Stansell of Arnold, MD, John Toy of Delaware and Paul Toy of South Carolina as well as great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will conducted on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Jim Buchholtz officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E.
