Obituary of Doris Downs

Doris Edith Rasmussen Downs, age 75, of 157 Olivet Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at her residence. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Malvin Rasin and Alma Anderson Rasmussen, and wife of the late Kenneth Winfred Downs. Mrs. Downs worked as a Physician’s Assistant and a X-Ray Technician. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Harry Randolph Hansen of Chesapeake, VA, Malvin Alan Hansen of Hertford, NC, and Jeffrey Martin Hansen of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother Charles Rasmussen of Largo, FL; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
