Hertford, NC Ethel Cartwright Eure, 75, of 1401 New Hope Road, Hertford, NC died Wednesday, October 08, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC to the late John Anderson and Margaret Elle Lowry Cartwright and was the widow of Melvin Russell Eure, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Mrs. Eure is survived by a daughter, Eden E. Honeycutt of Ocracoke, NC; a son, Melvin Russell Eure, Jr. of Hertford, NC; and two grandchildren, Melvin Russell Eure, III and Rachel Eure.
