Obituary of Delbert Harrison

Shiloh, NC Delbert Dalton Harrison, 71, of 144 Texas Road, Shiloh, NC died Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Albemarle Hospital. He was born in Camden County, NC to the late Roger Forbes and Hilda Harrison Sawyer and was the husband of Patsy Mae Byrd Harrison of the residence. Mr. Harrison was a retired aircraft maintenance technician with the U. S. Air Force, a former member of the Camden County Board of Adjustors, and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Besides his wife, Mr. Harrison is survived by two daughters, Eva Jane Green of Sunbury, NC and Anita Harrison Mason of Shiloh, NC; two sons, William Addison Harrison of New Jersey and Willis Dalton Harrison of Shiloh, NC; three sisters, Bertha Jane Gallop of Rocky Mount, NC, Barbara Ann Sawyer of Woodville, NC, and Nellie Ray Chapman of Shiloh, NC; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Riddle Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Roland Cooper. Burial will follow at Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors performed by V. F. W. Post 6060. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM and at other times at the residence.
