Obituary of Delores O’Neal

Ocracoke, NC Delores Collins Witt O’Neal, 75, died Monday, November 3, 2003 at her residence. Mrs. O’Neal was born in Pittsburgh, PA and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ocracoke United Methodist Church and was a volunteer worker for the Preservation Society Museum. She was the daughter of the late Willard G. Collins and Anna Grace Maybury Collins and the wife of Earl W. O’Neal, Jr. of the home. Besides her husband survivors include one daughter, Sharen M. Breidert of Bedford, VA; one son, Mark O’Neal of Simpsonville, SC; two sisters, Phillis A. Wiggans of Macon, MO. and Carolyn Prenter of Virginia; one brother, W. Gordon Collins, Jr. of Oakland, CA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the Ocracoke United Methodist Church with Rev. Joyce Reynolds officiating.
