Obituary of William Robert Harrell

Elizabeth City, NC William Robert Harrell, age 78, of Hampton, VA, answered God’s call on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the Extended Care Center at the Veteran’s Hospital in Hampton, VA. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church and The Men’s Fellowship Bible Class. Mr. Harrell was a native of Speed NC, a retired Insurance Agent for the Charlotte Liberty Insurance Company, a member of Eureka Masonic Lodge # 317 AF & AM, and The K.J. Eyer Chapter #64 Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Harrell is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye Todd Harrell and his parents, Joe Harrell and Ruth Everett Pugh Harrell. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel 405 East Church St, Elizabeth City NC by Rev. F. Joe Griffith. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the lobby of The Funeral Home immediately following the service. Twiford’s Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
