Virginia Bard Gatling Lynch Dunaye died Monday, November 3, 2003 at home in Southern Shores, NC of respiratory failure caused by breast and lung cancer. She will be interred Saturday, November 8th, 2003 in the family burial plot at the cemetery of Gatesville, NC. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 12th, 2003 at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, milepost 12 ‘, Nags Head, NC.
