Obituary of Eleanor Amundsen

Eleanor ‘Ellie’ Amundsen Native of Franklin, NJ Eleanor Jean Talmadge Amundsen, age 54, of 121 West Island Trail, Hertford, NC, died Thursday, November 6, 2003 at her residence. Mrs. Amundsen, a native of Franklin, NJ, was the wife of Dean Karl Amundsen, Sr., and the daughter of the late Lee Grant Talmadge and Jenevie Babcock Talmadge. She was a homemaker. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Margaret ‘Petty’ Ratliff, Angel Talmadge, and Christina Amundsen all of Hertford, NC; one son, Dean karl Amundsen, Jr., of Hertford, NC; a sister, Phyllis Talmadge of Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, Harry Talmadge of Franklin, NJ, and Eddie Babcock of Port Jarvis, NY; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, November 10, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Twiford’s Northside Chapel, 1115 North Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
