Obituary of George Andersen

GEORGE ALLEN ANDERSEN Elizabeth City resident George Allen Andersen, 26, of 404 W. Fearing Street, Elizabeth City died Saturday morning, November 15, 2003, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Princeton, Illinois and was a carpenter. George is survived by his mother, Rita Taylor Ballance of Elizabeth City, NC, his father, Bruce Allen Andersen of Buda, Illinois, his step-father, John Ballance of Elizabeth City, paternal grandmother, Janet Andersen of Mineral, Il.; his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Rose Znacki of Henry, Il. Also, he is survived by three sisters, Ursula Ballance, Michelle Ballance and Nicole Ballance all of Elizabeth City and one brother, Casey Ballance of Elizabeth City, a niece, Haley James of Kill Devil Hills, NC, several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held, Friday morning, November 21, 2003, at 11:00am in the Twiford Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC by Rev. Jake Mullins. The family will receive friends and relatives in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the memorial services.
