Obituary of Mary Ivey Johnson

MARY ELIZABETH IVEY JOHNSON Perquimans County native Mary Elizabeth Ivey Johnson, 77, of 19 Beth Drive, Moorestown, NJ died Friday, December 20, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Perquimans County, NC to the late Redden and Ruth Layden Ivey and was the widow of the late Marius Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a retired salesperson for Pomeroys. She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Besnoff of Moorestown, NJ, Barbara Grabert of Narlton, NJ and Claudia Kutch of Mt. Holley, NJ; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, December 23, 2002, at 11:00am in the Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, NC by Rev. F. Joe Griffith. Burial will be in the New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the chapel service.
