Obituary of Elizabeth DePlanque Tillett

Elizabeth DePlanque Tillett, age 76, of 795 Perry’s Bridge Road, Belvidere, NC, died Monday, December 23, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Tillett was a native of North Bergen, NJ. She was the widow of William Dexter Tillett, and the daughter of the late Cornelius Wilhelmuth Deplanque. She was a retired presser at Supac & Sons and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Tillett is survived by a daughter, Diana Cromwell of Belvidere, NC; a son Kenneth Tillett of Frisco, NC; six grandchildren; and three great grand- children. A memorial service will be Friday, December 27, at 2:00 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Al Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the residence of her granddaughter, Kelly Cromwell, 102 Sycamore Lane, Elizabeth City, NC.
