Obituary of Marie Brock

Elizabeth City, NC Marie Freeman Brock, age 90, of Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, January 12, 2004, in Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC, daughter of the late Thomas Linwood Freeman, Sr. and Lillie Sawyer Freeman, and was the wife of the late James Kinch Brock, Sr. Mrs. Brock was a retired Insurance Agent for Charlotte Liberty Insurance, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Tommy Brock and his wife Anne of Elizabeth City, NC; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren; five step great-great grandchildren. Memorial service will be Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends in the lobby of the funeral home immediately following the service. At other times the family will be family will be at the residence of Tommy Brock, 1004 Rivershore Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
