Obituary of Aldana Perez

PEREZ MANTEO, NC ALDANA SORENSEN PEREZ, 88, of Manteo, died, Friday, January 16, 2004, in Nags Head. Mrs. Perez was born in DeKalb, Ill and was a retired speech and hearing therapist for Ridgefield Public Schools. Mrs. Perez was the daughter of the late Henry Richard and Aldana Andrews Drury Sorensen and the wife of the late James J. Perez. Surviving are her son; Richard Carll DeSilver of Manteo, three grandchildren; Andrew C. DeSilver of Seattle, Washington, Amanda J. DeSilver of Edmonds, Washington and Dwynwen DeSilver of Bethany, Ct, three great-grandchildren; Nicolas Sabatelli, Sofia Sabatelli and Gabriel Sabatelli all of Bethany, Ct. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 446, Manteo, N.C. 27954. Twiford’s Colony Chapel Manteo is assisting the Perez family.
