Obituary of Diane Midgett

EC Midgett Diane Midgett Powells Point, NC Diane Midgett, age 60, of 8341 A, Caratoke Highway, Powells Point, NC, died January 26, 2004 at Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Pasquotank County, NC, daughter of the late Ezekiel M. Midgett and Lucy Sawyer Midgett. Mrs. Midgett is survived by a daughter, Stacie Davis of Point Harbor, NC; three sons, Vernon Twiford of Powells Point, NC, Jeff Davis of Amelia, OH, and Kevin Davis of Grandy, NC; a brother, Ezekiel W. Midgett of Harbinger, NC, and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Ray and William A. Midgett. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 30, 2004 at 2:00 pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Walter Ray Gallop officiating. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 pm, and Friday before the service from 12:00 until 2:00 pm, and at other times at the residence of the daughter, Stacie Davis, 150 Oakwood Trail, Point Harbor, NC.
