Obituary of Geneva Woods

BUXTON, NC GENEVA STUCKEY WOODS, 80, of Buxton, NC died Saturday, February 7, 2004 in a Nags Head nursing home. Mrs. Woods was born in Kirklan, TX and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Stuckey and the late Jessie Matthews and was the widow of the late Lonnie L. Woods, Sr. Mrs. Woods is survived by one son, Lonnie L. Woods, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Frisco, NC; two grandchildren, Lonnie L. Woods, III of Texas and Kimberly M. Peele of Frisco, NC; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in the Family Cemetery in Buxton on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 10:00 am with Rev. Roger Barnett officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Lonnie and Barbara Woods, Lovie Lane, Frisco. Twiford’s Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
