Obituary of Billy Wright

Billy D. Wright, 61, of 710 Oakdale Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Wednesday, February 11, 2004, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Wright was born in Muncie, IN to the late Harold W. and Virginia Thorne Wright. He retired as an AEC from the U.S. Coast Guard, a member of Pine Lakes Country Club, Bass Masters of Elizabeth City and he was a Protestant. Mr. Wright is survived by one brother, James G. Wright of Bloomington, IN and seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Beverly K. Handley. A funeral service will be conducted Friday evening, February 13, 2004, at 7:00pm in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC. The family will receive friends Friday evening prior to the service from 5:30 to 7:00pm at the Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 404 Jessup Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. Another funeral service will take place in Muncie, IN with burial in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie, IN at a later date. Twiford Funeral Home, 405 E.
