Obituary of Louise O’Neal

Ocracoke Louise Tolleson O’Neal, 59, died on February 15, 2004 at DePaul hospital. Mrs. O’Neal was born in Portsmouth, VA, was a secretary for Tideland Electric Company and was a member of the Ocracoke Assembly of God. She was the daughter of Mary E. O’Neal Gaskins of Ocracoke and the late Lewis Tolleson, Jr. and was the widow of Isaac D. ‘Ikey D’ O’Neal, Sr. Besides her mother, she is survived by one son, Isaac ‘Ikey’ O’Neal, Jr. and one granddaughter, Lucy Louise O’Neal, both of Ocracoke; one twin brother, Lewis Tolleson, III of Florida; three sisters, Maxine Mason, Linda Gaskill and Judy Garrish, all of Ocracoke; A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ocracoke United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John White and Rev. Joyce Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the O’Neal Family Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church on Wednesday, February 18th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ocracoke Assembly of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 68, Ocracoke, NC 27960.
