Obituary of Marshall Sanderlin, III

WANCHESE, NC MARSHALL WILLIAM SANDERLIN, III, 39, of Wanchese, NC died Saturday, February 21, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Sanderlin, born in Elizabeth City, NC, was a Fish Packer and attended Wanchese Assembly of God. He was the son of Marshall William Sr. and Priscilla ‘Jane’ Bennett Sanderlin of Manteo. Besides his parents, Mr. Sanderlin is survived by a daughter, Brittany Reed of California; three sisters, Patty McCarter of Manteo, NC, Charlotte Sanderlin of Raleigh, NC and Barbara Gotsch of Severna Park, MD; and a brother, David William Sanderlin of Manteo, NC. Funeral services will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Dalton officiating. Burial will be in a local cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and other times at the home of his parents, Jane and Marshall Sanderlin, Jr. at 909 Bernice Ave., off Jackson St., Manteo.
