Obituary of Goldie Blondheim

Goldie Marie Blondheim Elizabeth City ‘ Goldie Marie Blondheim, 77, died at home after a long illness. Goldie was a caring, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Linda Fly of Elizabeth City, NC; sons Francis David Blondheim of South Mills, NC, Larry Wayne Blondheim of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Bessie Byers of Seebring FL, Rosie Durr of Spring Hill FL, Cressie Roy of Stark FL, Mildred Drake of Wellsburg NY; brothers Edward Byers of Horsehead NY, Albert Byers of Stark FL, and Arthur Byers; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and 2 special friends John and Betty Goodwin from Akron, OH. The family will receive friends at the Twiford’s Colonial Chapel 929 S. Battlefield Blvd. On Friday, February 27th from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held Saturday at the Twiford’s Chapel at 11 AM with committal to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at Dave’s residence in NC after the services.
