Obituary of Stanley Riker
Sanibel, FL
Stanley Lambert Riker, age 85, died in Sanibel, Florida on February 24. Born in Montclair, NJ, he was the owner of M&S Auto Parts. He was a member of the Duck Volunteer Fire Department, The Bayberry Bluffs Homeowners Association and Holy Redeemer parish. He served as a navigator in World War II and became a member of the Hump Pilot’s Association. His parents, Joe and Jeanette Riker, have preceded him in death as has his beloved wife, Ruth.
He is survived by his son, Dennis; his daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Richard Rodgers; grandchildren, Michelle, Melinda, Matt, Mark and Kay; great-grandchildren, Nick, Isaac, Haylee, Brendan and Noah and sisters, Lorraine Sauter and June Hageman.
Memorial Services will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kitty Hawk, NC on Saturday, March 6th at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Duck Volunteer Fire Department, 1259 Duck Road, Duck, NC 27949.
