Obituary of Douglas Wolfert

Elizabeth City, NC Douglas John Wolfert, age 64, of 525 Liberator Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Sheboygan, WI, son of the late Douglas Wolfert and Nelda Rimkus Wolfert. He was the husband of Connie Gray Wolfert of the residence. Mr. Wolfert served in the US Navy for 20 years, and was retired from the BAE systems in Chesapeake, VA. He was Catholic. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Kirsten Williamson of Lovettsville, VA, and Lisa Cullipher of Hertford, NC; one sister, Jarleth Hermann of WI; one brother Timothy Wolfert of WI; two grandchildren, Darrell Johnson and Bobby Williamson; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, March 6, 2004 in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:30 AM with the Father Jim Buchholz, with Military Honors by the VFW Post 6060.
