Obituary of Steven Locklear

Powells Point Steven Earl Locklear, 36, died Sunday, March 20, 2004 in Buxton. Mr. Locklear was born in Norfolk, VA and was self-employed in construction. He attended Grandy Assembly of God. He was the son of Roberta ‘Boe’ Baggett King of Kill Devil Hills and the late John L. Locklear. He was the husband of Laurie LeBlanc Locklear of Powells Point. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his step-father, Jimmy King of Kill Devil Hills; one daughter, one son, one sister and three brothers. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Grandy Assembly of God on Sunday at 4:00 PM with Pastor Lee Moody officiating. Burial will take place in the Austin Cemetery.
