Obituary of Grace Coleman

Grace L. Coleman Native of Virginia Beach, VA Mrs. Grace Louise Bateman Coleman, age 66, of 545 Stafford Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, in Albemarle Hospital. She was born in Virginia Beach, VA, daughter of the late Joseph Thaddeus Bateman and Grace Leigh Perkins Bateman, and was the wife of the late William Edward Coleman, Sr. Mrs. Coleman was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Eva Marie Browder, and Banita Jean Ciccarelli, both of Elizabeth City, NC; one son, William Edward Coleman, Jr., of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Joe Douglas Bateman of Townsend, MT; and ten grandchildren. Mrs. Coleman was predeceased by one son, Noah Joseph Coleman. A graveside funeral service will be Friday, April 16, 2004, at 11:30 AM in Princess Anne Memorial Park Cemetery, Virginia Beach, VA, with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and at other times at the residence of the daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Browder, 545 Stafford Road, Elizabeth City, NC.
