Obituary of Matangi Hayes Carlos

Charelston, SC Matangi Hayes Carlos, 5 months, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at his residence. Matangi was born in Charleston and was the son of Kats Carlos, formerly of Hawaii, and Jamie Danielle Hayes, formerly of Kill Devil Hills, NC. Besides his parents, Matangi is survived by his grandparents, Jerry & Sandra Boone of Kill Devil Hills, NC; four uncles, Elton T. Hayes, III, Jeremy Boone of Cherry Point, NC, Trent Boone of Powells Point, NC and Adam Boone of Kill Devil Hills, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ted Hayes. A Celebration of Life was held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Monday, April 12, 2004 at 2:00 pm. He was layed to rest along with the ashes of his great grandmother, Inez Johnson at Toler Cemetery in Coinjock, NC. The family is receiving friends at the home of Sandra Boone, 900 W. Martin St., Kill Devil Hills, NC. Twiford’s Funeral Home, Manteo, is assisting the family with these arrangements.
