Obituary of Doris Singer

Elizabeth City, NC Doris Gogel Singer, age 85, of 300 Troy Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, April 19, 2004, in the Albemarle Hospital. She was a native of Brooklyn, NY, and the daughter of the late Samuel Gogel and Celia Krull Gogel, and the wife of the late Jerome ‘Jerry’ Singer. She was a retired Kindergarten teacher, and was of the Jewish faith. Mrs. Singer is survived by one son, Richard and his wife Denise Singer of Elizabeth City, NC; one brother, Kenneth Gogel of Forest, VA; four grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Jennifer Singer of Islip, NY, Jeremy Singer of Oakdale, NY, Ashley Singer, and Abby Singer both of Elizabeth City, NC.
