Obituary of Christopher Perry

Colington Harbour Christopher Lee Smith Perry, 26, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Perry was born in Dare County and was a construction repairman. The happiest times of his life was working for the Colington Volunteer Fire Department. He was the son of William Joseph Perry, Jr. and Miranda Owens Perry of Colington Harbour. Besides his parents, he is survived by Maternal grandparents, Marious and Rena Owens of Harbinger; Paternal grandmother, Lucy S. Perry of Baum Bay in Kill Devil Hills; grandparents, Elwood and Donis Alexander of Manteo; one sister, Alisia Perry of Colington Harbour; one brother, Walter L. Perry, II of Moscow, Russia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Powells Point Christian Church Cemetery on Monday, April 26, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Coxson officiating. The family will receive friends at Twifords Funeral Home, Manteo, on Sunday, April 25 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Colington Volunteer Fire Department, 108 Schoolhouse Road, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948.
