Obituary of Carolyn Frances Jordan

Carolyn Frances West Jordan Native of Chowan, NC Carolyn Frances West Jordan, age 58, of 1700 Edgewood Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, April 26, 2004, in Chesapeake General Hospital. She was a native of Chowan, NC, and was the daughter of the late Willie Reed West and Sarah Chappell West, and the wife of Thomas Jacob Jordan of the residence. She was a Preschool teacher with Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Melissa C. Jordan of the residence; one son, Wesley T. Jordan also of the residence; one half sister, Estelle Dempsey of Austin, TX; one brother, Gordan K. West of Sanford, NC; two half brothers, William R. West of Dotham, AL, and Phillip C. West of Clovis, NM. A funeral service will be Thursday, April 29, 2004, at 11:00 AM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, with Rev. Dr. Bob Crisp officiating. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery, Tyner, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel and at other times at the residence.
