Obituary of Deborah Swain

Wanchese Deborah Hooper Swain, 48, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at her daughter’s residence near Raleigh. Mrs. Swain was born in Buxton, NC and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Luther William Hooper and the late Sarah Annie Swindell Hooper and the wife of Stephen Ralph Swain of Wanchese. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sabrina Townsend and husband David of Hollywood, MD and Bobbie Jo Wescott of Wanchese; one son, Bryan Joseph Wescott and wife Rasha of Coral Springs, FL; three sisters, Alpaine Midgett of Rodanthe, Rachel Ewell of Rome, TX and Clara Gallop of Wanchese; one brother, Luther Elwood Hooper of Wanchese; two granddaughters, Sheyanne Rose Wescott and Natalie Farmer. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Pitsch officiating.
