Obituary of Dora Andersen

Mrs. Dora Lee Forbes Andersen, age 92, of 123 Church Road, Harbinger, NC, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Albemarle Hospital. Mrs. Andersen, a native of Currituck County, was the daughter of the late Daniel Stanton Forbes and Lovie Brice Forbes. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Powell’s Point Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Koch Bailey and Mary Alice Armstrong both of Harbinger, NC; two sisters, Marry Gallop and Launa Owens both of Harbinger, NC; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Wednesday June 2, 2004, at 1:00 PM at Powell’s Point Christian Church with the Rev. David Coxson and the Rev. Ben Baum officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence of the daughter, Betty Koch Bailey, 183 Church Road, Harbinger, NC and receive friends immediately after the service in the church fellowship hall.
