Obituary of Scott Ferguson

MR1 Scott R Ferguson CHESAPEAKE, ‘MR1 Scott R. Ferguson, 39, passed away suddenly Friday, June 4th, 2004. He was a devoted husband, father, and son. Scott had served aboard the USS La Salle, USS Holland, USS Wisconsin,USS Shenendoah ,USS Ross, and USS Ponce. He was surface and air warfare qualified and served for nearly 20 years. He is survived by his maternal grandmother Peggy Dowd; his father Kit Ralph Ferguson; mother Geraldine Ferguson; his loving wife of 18 years Teresa L. Ferguson; daughters Suzanne, Danielle; sons Scott Jr. , Dennis; sister Stacy Durfee; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 4853 Princess Anne Rd in Virginia Beach on Tuesday, June 8th from 6 PM to 7 PM with a mass of the resurrection to follow at 7:30 PM with the Father James E. Park officiating. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens 6309 E Virginia Beach Blvd, on Wednesday, June 9th, at 2 PM.
