Obituary of Marie Sanders

Marie Gaskins Sanders Elizabeth City, NC Marie Gaskins Sanders, age 85, of Virginia Dare Apartments, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Pasquotank County, NC, and the daughter of the late Captain Zora Ben Gaskins and Nola Tolson Gaskins. Mrs. Sanders was a retired health care nurse and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Herbert Baxter Harris, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA, and William Charles Sanders of Elizabeth City, NC; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be Friday, June 18, 2004 in Old Hollywood Cemetery at 11:00 AM with the Rev. F. Joe Griffith officiating.
