Obituary of Alma Christopher

Kill Devil Hills Alma Reynolds Christopher, 73, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Nags Head. Mrs. Christopher was born in Providence, VA, was retired from General Electric as an assembly line worker and was a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late Sebe S.A. Reynolds and the late Gracie Bonds Reynolds and the wife of Earl V. Christopher of Portsmouth. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Kathy Walke of Kill Devil Hills; one son, Keith V. Christopher of Portsmouth; two sisters, Billie Hoffman of Dublin, VA and Eunice Gray of Suffolk, VA; three brothers, R.J. Reynolds of Covington, VA, Arnold Reynolds of Wytheville, VA and Noah Reynolds of Maryland; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Wilson Conwell officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Outer Banks Baptist Church, 216 W. 1st Street, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo, is in charge of these arrangements.
