Obituary of Betty Jean Fullerton

Mrs. Betty Jean Hooper Fullerton, age 70, of 105 Tulls Bay Drive, Moyock, NC, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Albemarle Hospital. Born in Chincoteague, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dalton and Mary Midgett Hooper, and sister of the late Maxine H. Kuhlmann. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. Mrs. Fullerton was the loving mother of three daughters: Mrs. Terri Lynch of Virginia Beach, VA, Mrs. Kathy Carroll of Barco, NC, and Mrs. Julia Schimmel of Colorado Springs, CO, and the devoted grandmother of Sean, Ian, Daniel, Sara, Colin, Eric and Austin. Even though we know she’s with her family in heaven now, her cherished presence will be greatly missed by her family left behind. A funeral service will be held Wednesday August 4, 2004 at 3:30 PM at Twiford’s Colony Chapel, in Manteo, NC. Burial will be in the Family Cemetery in Rodanthe, NC.
