Obituary of Donald Perry

KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC DONALD DENTON PERRY, 53, of Colington in Kill Devil Hills, NC died August 12, 2004 in a Chesapeake, Va. hospital. Mr. Perry was born in Dare County, NC and was a self-employed carpenter, and had served in the Merchant Marines. He was the son of the late John Raymond and Ann Elizabeth Evans Perry. Mr. Perry is survived by three daughters, Samantha Blackwell of Manteo, NC, Elizabeth Winslow of Southern Shores, NC, and Latisha Perry of Ohio; one son, Samuel Perry of Colington, NC; three sisters, Carrie Hardy of Manteo, NC, Gladis Jackson of South Mills, NC and Ramona Quinn of Redding, CA; one brother, Vernon Perry of Colington, NC; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Colington United Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 6:30 pm with Rev. Bob Pitsch officiating. Twiford’s Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
