Obituary of Reed Gabel

Reed Crofton Gabel, 21, passed away Aug. 14, 2004. Born in Key West, Fla., Oct. 24, 1982, to Dale and Shelley Gabel, he was a valedictorian graduate of Great Bridge High School and a graduate of the College of William and Mary. He is survived by his parents; a brother, Chandler B. Gabel of Gatesville, N.C.; and grandmother, Hazel Gabel of Sioux Falls, S.D. The family will receive friends at Twiford’s Colonial Chapel, 929 S. Battlefield Blvd., today from 7 to 8 p.m. A funeral will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name may be made to the Virginia Living Museum.
