Obituary of Luellen Midgette

Camden, NC Luellen Pendergrass Stone Midgette, age 82, of 130 South Mill Dam Road, Camden, NC, died Sunday, September 12, 2004 at her residence after a long illness. Born in Dekalb County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Hattie Pendergrass, and the widow of the late Andy P. Stone Sr., and the late Hubert Midgette. Mrs. Midgette was a homemaker. Mrs. Midgette is survived by: two sons, William M. Stone and Andy P. Stone, Jr., both of Camden, NC; two grandchildren Cindy Stone Cartwright and Dawn Stone Barnette; and one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 16, 2004, at 2:00 P.M. in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, by the Rev. Roland Cooper. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M., and following the service.
