Obituary of Ted Hilderbrand

HILDERBRAND KITTY HAWK, N.C. TED SCOTT HILDERBRAND, 57, of Kitty Hawk, died, Saturday, September 11, 2004, in Portsmouth, Va. Mr. Hilderbrand was born in Mooresville, N.C. and was retired SGT 1st Class from the U.S. Army and was a member of Disabled American Veterans. Ted was the son of the late Louis and Rosa Elizabeth Gilleland. Surviving are two daughters; Wendy H. Crane of Chesapeake, Va and Loura Hilderbrand of Hickory, N.C., one son; Jason Hilderbrand of Portsmouth, Va, one sister; Bonnie Stearns of Kitty Hawk, two brothers; Sam Hilderbrand of Kitty Hawk and Tony Hilderbrand of Statesville, N.C., three grandchildren; Vaughn Hoppa, Chris Zimmerman and Joshua Hilderbrand. Ted was pre-deceased by his son Stevie Hilderbrand and brother Steve Hilderbrand. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in Twiford’s Colony Chapel.
