Shirley Ann Chambers Ingram, age 59, of 923 Foreman Bundy Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at her residence. She was a native of Currituck, NC, and a life long resident of Elizabeth City, and was the daughter of the late Albert Ray and Martha Lowers Chambers. Sr.. She worked as a quality control technician with the George C. Moore Company.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by six daughters, Tabatha Ingram of Elizabeth City, NC, Patty Ann Byrum of Tyner, NC, Karen Harrington of Hawaii, Kimberly Barclay of Murchison, TX, Tammy Fincham of Harbinger, NC and Lisa Rich of Elizabeth City, NC; four sisters, Phyllis Burtcher of Elizabeth City, NC, Peggy Bray of Kelford, NC, Lorraine Curley of Eure, NC, Jean Ward of Hertford, NC; four brothers, Albert Ray Chambers, Jr. of Creswell, NC, William Griggs Chambers of Manteo, NC, Gary Chambers of South Mills, NC, Joe Chambers of Camden, NC; and a special friend, Marc Stecker, and was predeceased by a son, Calvin Ross Penland and a daughter, Baby Girl Ingram, and a brother, Chester Lee Chambers.
A graveside service will be Saturday, September 25, 2004, at 3:00 PM in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roland Cooper officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
