Obituary of Eugene Lynch

Powells Point, NC Eugene ‘Gene’ William Lynch, age 72, of 118 South Spot Road, Powells Point, NC, died Sunday, September 26, 2004, at his residence. He was a native of Bronx, NY, and was the son of the late Edward Lynch and Mary Quinn Lynch. Mr. Lynch had been a resident of the Powells Point community since 1994, and was a retired carpenter with the State of New York. Survivors include his wife; Eileen Ann Farrell Lynch; three sons, Gene Lynch and his wife Wendi of Lake Carmel, NY, Edward Lynch and his wife Tensy of Croton on the Hudson, NY, James Lynch and his wife Lauren of Spring, TX.; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Winifred Lynch Moloney. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 29, 2004, at 1:30 P. M. at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 301 West Kitty Hawk Road, Kitty Hawk, NC, 27949, with Deacon Don Wobser officiating. A memorial service will be held in Carmel, NY. at a later date.
