Obituary of Doretta Wallace

Elizabeth City, NC Doretta S. Ullman Wallace, age 86, former resident of Virginius Drive, Va. Beach, VA, died Friday, October 1, 2004, in Albemarle Hospital. She was a native of Pleasant City, OH, and daughter of the late Alonzo Ullman and Maggie Sproat Ullman. She was wife of the late Hoke Wallace, and a member of Princess Ann Plaza Baptist Church, Va. Beach, VA. She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Pitts Milam and her husband, Ronald of Elizabeth City, NC; four grandchildren, Vicki M. Wilson, Cindy M. Hill and her husband, Steven, Kim M. Hilderbrandt and her husband Chris, Kelly Milam, four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. A graveside service will be Monday, October 4, 2004, at 2:00 PM, in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Norfolk, VA, with the Rev. Ronald W. Lee officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:30 PM to 6:00M PM at Twiford’s Northside Chapel, 1115 N. Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC, and at other times the family will be at the residence of the daughter, 106 Katies Trail, Elizabeth City, NC.
