Obituary of Harold Williams

Elizabeth City, NC Mr. Harold Calvin Williams, age 95, of 707 Richardson Street, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday, October 1, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born in Hyde County, NC, the son of the late Calvin Bishop Williams and Dessie Marie McKinney Williams and was the widow of Mary Afadell Gibbs Williams. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Williams is survived by one daughter, Cecelia Boulerice of Elizabeth City, NC; two sisters, Alma Lewis of Elizabeth City, NC and Rena Belle W. Gibbs of Englehardt, NC; one brother, Melvin Williams of Elizabeth City, NC. 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine W. Hook and a son, Chesley Wayne Williams. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 3, 2004, at 2:00 PM in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel, 405 E. Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC.
