Obituary of Maude Perry

MAUDE WEEKS PERRY, 86 of 493 Okisko Road Elizabeth City NC died Thursday October 7, 2004 in the Guardian Care Nursing Home She was a native of Pasquotank County and had retired from Belks with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Mount Hermon United Methodist Church, the Mount Hermon Homemakers Extension Club and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter # 44 in Elizabeth City NC. Mrs. Perry was daughter of the late Willoughby Dozier ‘WD’ and Mrs. Pearl Jones Weeks and the widow of William Isreal Perry. She is survived by one daughter Annette P. Gregory and her husband Bobby of Elizabeth City NC, one sister Katherine W. Ferguson of Raleigh NC, one brother William Alton Weeks of Camden NC, two grandchildren Bobby ‘Greg’ Gregory and wife Terrie of Elizabeth City NC William ‘Billy’ Gregory and his wife Linda of Camden NC, four great grandchildren Mary, Britney, Tiffany and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by two brothers O.J. Peter Weeks and James E. ‘Jimmy’ Weeks. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon October 10, 2004 at 5:30 o’clock in Twiford’s Memorial Chapel 405 East church St. by Rev. Brad Dunn. Emtombment will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family request that Memorial Contributions be made to the Mount Hermon United Methodist Church Music fund 693 Methodist Church Road, Elizabeth City NC 27909.
